About Yanatha Desouvre
Desouvre serves as the inaugural, the 1st Faculty of Entrepreneurship at Miami Dade College. A modern-day renaissance man, a pioneer, Desouvre, is an educator, sought out speaker on the topic of entrepreneurship, impact and arts and culture, and a seasoned information technology professional, has successfully incorporated his technical expertise into his creative work. Desouvre was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti grew up in Brooklyn NY, and Philadelphia, PA. He resides, with his wife and beautiful children in Miami, Florida. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Management Information Systems and Marketing from Drexel University. He received an MBA, with a focus on Marketing, Mass Communication, and Media Management, from Lynn University. The author of An Essential Guide to Windows 10 (2015), he’s a Marketing and Information Technology coach and consultant who has taught at Miami Dade College and Chestnut Hill College.
His literary works include Walk Through this Journey (2006), (2008) A Family Affair (2010), To Whom Much is Given (2012), Savor the Moments (2014), Proud to Be (2016), and his best-selling children’s book Big Sister, Little Sister (2013) available in French, Spanish and Haitian Creole. Audiobooks for Walk Through this Journey (Volume One) and Savor the Moments are available on iTunes, Google Play, and other platforms. Desouvre currently lives in Miami with his wife and children.

As a Poet, Motivational Speaker he's participated in many events for Drexel University, Lynn University, Palm Beach Atlantic University Literary Café, The Stage, World Café Live in Saul Williams "Chorus" Spoken Word World Tour Sep 2012, and WURD's summer of Freedom Tour 2013. Desouvre was a panel member “The Pursuit of Happiness and Exploration” inaugurating Delray Beach Public Library Lifelong Learning Center in 2009.
